Notification of Business Merger

To all of our clients,
Firstly, we appreciate all of your business and wish you all the best. Hitachi is grateful for all your support.

Hitachi High-technologies (China) Corporation and Hitachi High-technologies (Shanghai) Corporationboth belong to the HITACHIHigh-tech Group. We have decided to combine these two companies’ business together in order to improve our work efficiency. The business plus the management of Hitachi High-technologies (China) Corporationwill be merged intoHitachi High-technologies (Shanghai) Corporationas of the 1st of Oct., 2008. 

Along with merging Hitachi High-technologies (China) Corporation’s management into Hitachi High-technologies (Shanghai) Corporation, the move would also affect the following business: Semiconductor Process Equipment, Biotechnology Analyzer Equipment services, Liquid Crystal Equipment Manufacturing post-sales services, and Multi-functional Mounter services.

This merger only affects the business department within the Hitachi High-tech Group, no business service or positions will change.
The combination of the two companies requires a period of time, and Hitachi High-technologies (China) Corporationwill continue to operate until they have taken care of all outstanding debts and have settled all contracts before the merger takes effect. Hitachi High-technologies (Shanghai) Corporationwill take over all new contracts from the 1st of Oct.
